The machine seems to be good for the price. Well worth the money.
This is a good product, but it doesn't have an auto pump-out system. When water is collected, it only has a gravity drain. Except for that, it functions effectively.
It is a great unit. I need to use a hose for drainage or to remove the collected water from the dehumidifier. Other than that, it works well.
This is #2. The first one served me VERY well. My environment can be high humidity so I must control it. I run it on an AC timer which limits it to weekends and nighttime operation. #1 died due to fine dust in the coils after 3 years of hard use. Before buying #2 I designed a pre-filter for the air intake. This consists of a washable furnace-style foam 1" thick. I did this in such a way it is easily removable for washing. I expect #2 will run for 20 yrs. It sure is working smoothly and extracting a LOT of water. I run the hose directly in the floor drain. This unit can fill the plastic canister in 6 hours.
I am giving this much detail as this product deserves the support and have solid and logical information on this HEAVY DUTY dehumidifier.
